May you awaken to the mystery of being here and enter the quiet immensity of your own presence.
May you have joy and peace in the temple of your senses.
May you receive great encouragement when new frontiers beckon.
May you respond to the call of your gift and find the courage to follow its path.
May the flame of anger free you from falsity.
May warmth of heart keep your presence aflame and may anxiety never linger about you.
May your outer dignity mirror an inner dignity of soul.
May you take time to celebrate the quiet miracles that seek no attention.
May you be consoled in the secret symmetry of your soul.
May you experience each day as a sacred gift woven around the heart of wonder.”
- John O’Donohue, “A Blessing,” from the book “Benedictus- A Book of Blessings”
So, this weekend was our big expo. I was so excited about it but have spent so much time at my “day job” that I was exhausted by the time of the big weekend. I used to be able to just up the energy with no effort. Well, ok, with a little effort and lots of enthusiasm, but this year though it was a little tough. I was really grateful for my friends who stepped in with lots of love and advice.
As usual spirit provided me with tools, tasks and many, many messages. The biggest message was that I am provided for always. On Friday night, after I set up my booth and was all ready to go I stopped back to check in one last time. I discovered that somehow many extra chairs had appeared in my booth. The chairs ended up being in a circle around the outside of the booth. I won’t even go into the symbolism of the circle, there’s really not time or space here but the chairs had other meaning to me. I thought wow, I must need a place for a lot of people to sit! Then I realized that the set up was really condusive to teaching and I’ve been seriously talking about teaching again. While I didn’t actually sell many drawings (I did give a bunch away as gifts) it seemed like whenever I did draw an energy portrait for someone there was a crowd around me watching and I taught a few people how to use art to help them release energy.
Saturday morning the manifestation continued when I stopped at Wawa for my coffee and the man in front of me paid for it. Sunday I stopped for my coffee and my husband was sitting outside the store waiting for me…breakfast sandwich in hand. Later Sunday I found a gorgeous new friend named Kayla! Wow what a sweet little girl. She popped in and out of my booth all afternoon bringing some sunshine with her. Later in the day I even had a friend buy me dinner!
It goes to show that God will provide, all the time, in the littlest ways, and when you get nervous about that fact you get reminders!
It’s that time of year! I love to connect with others, to play with my chalk and to listen to the work and words of spirit! The Fall Spiritual Holistic Expo is coming up next week and I’m ready! There’s a change coming mind you, but it’s all good. Be there or be square!
